Dedicated team

A dedicated development team that works like your own.

Named engineers, designers and QA who join your repository, your rituals and your standards — reviewed by your leads, shipping to your definition of done. You talk to the people writing the code, not to an account manager.

We do not compete on rate. If the deciding factor is the lowest hourly number, we are the wrong partner and we would rather say that now.

Roles available

Compose the team around the work. Most engagements start with two or three of these and add the rest as the project earns them.

  • 01

    Frontend Developers

Interfaces that stay fast and accessible as the product grows, built on a component system rather than page by page.

    On an engagement

    • Component libraries and design-system implementation
    • Performance budgets and Core Web Vitals held in CI
    • Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA, including keyboard and screen reader
    • Internationalisation and RTL where the product needs it

    React · Next.js · TypeScript · Tailwind CSS · Vue · Testing Library

  • 02

    Backend Developers

Data models, APIs and services designed for the ten-thousandth record, not the tenth.

    On an engagement

    • Domain modelling, schema design and migrations
    • REST and GraphQL APIs with versioning and documentation
    • Authentication, authorisation and audit trails
    • Background jobs, queues and third-party integrations

    Node.js · TypeScript · Python · PostgreSQL · Redis · Prisma

  • 03

    Mobile Developers

iOS and Android from one codebase, with native modules where a feature genuinely needs them.

    On an engagement

    • Cross-platform applications with shared business logic
    • Offline-first data with sync and conflict handling
    • Push notifications, deep links and release pipelines
    • App Store and Google Play submission under your accounts

React Native · Expo · TypeScript · Swift · Kotlin

  • 04

    UI/UX Designers

Product thinking before pixels — flows validated with real users, then a system engineering can build without guessing.

    On an engagement

    • Discovery, user flows and information architecture
    • Interactive prototypes tested before the build starts
    • Design systems with tokens, states and responsive behaviour
    • Specified empty, loading and error cases — not just the happy path

    Figma · Design tokens · Storybook · Maze · WCAG 2.2 AA

  • 05

    QA Engineers

Testing as an engineering discipline: automated where it pays, exploratory where judgement is needed.

    On an engagement

    • Test strategy and coverage on the paths that carry risk
    • End-to-end and regression suites running in CI
    • Cross-browser, device and accessibility verification
    • Release checklists and reproducible bug reports

    Playwright · Vitest · Jest · axe-core · Lighthouse CI

  • 06

    DevOps Engineers

Infrastructure as code, deployments that are boring, and the ability to roll back in minutes.

    On an engagement

    • Reproducible environments defined in code
    • CI/CD pipelines with automated checks before merge
    • Monitoring, logging, alerting and on-call runbooks
    • Cost review, backups and disaster-recovery testing

    Docker · Terraform · AWS · Vercel · GitHub Actions · Cloudflare

  • 07

    AI Engineers

Language models connected to your real data and systems, with guardrails, evaluation and a human path out.

    On an engagement

    • Retrieval pipelines grounded in your own content
    • Prompt architecture, tool use and structured outputs
    • Evaluation sets and accuracy reporting before launch
    • Cost control, logging and human escalation paths

Claude API · OpenAI API · Python · pgvector · LangGraph · Evaluation harnesses

How the engagement works

  • Flexible team composition

Start with two engineers and a designer, add QA when there is something to test and DevOps when there is something to deploy. The shape follows the work — you are not paying for a role the project does not need yet.

  • Direct communication

You talk to the people writing the code, in your Slack or Teams, with no account manager translating between you. Weekly written updates cover progress, risks and the decisions we need from you.

  • Project-based engagement

A dedicated team is monthly, but it is not open-ended. Every month has agreed objectives and a report on delivered scope, so you can judge the value and stop at any month boundary with 30 days' notice.

  • Long-term support

When the build slows down the knowledge does not have to leave. We move to a smaller support arrangement, or hand over to your in-house team with documentation written for the person who inherits it.

Our process

  1. 01

    Idea

You describe the problem. We say honestly whether software is the answer.

  2. 02

    Discovery

We learn the business before we discuss the build.

  3. 03

    UX/UI

Flows and screens designed before code, and tested with the people who will use them.

  4. 04

    Development

Built in reviewable increments, in your repository, from the first commit.

  5. 05

    Testing

We try to break it before your customers do.

  6. 06

    Launch

A planned release, not a switch someone flips on a Friday evening.

  7. 07

    Growth

What we learn after launch is what decides the next phase.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Three specific ways. You get named engineers rather than interchangeable seats, so the person who learned your domain in month one is still there in month six. You talk to them directly instead of through an account manager. And we report on delivered scope rather than hours logged — if a week produced little, the report says so.

We are at UTC+5. The UK and Australia get five or more hours of live overlap. New York and Toronto get about three, in a committed late-afternoon window on our side. San Francisco gets around two, so we work asynchronous-first there with one fixed daily window — we would rather tell you that now than have you discover it in week two.

You do, from the first commit. Repositories, cloud accounts and third-party services are created in your name, and IP assignment is written into the engagement agreement. There is no proprietary layer and nothing is withheld to keep you on a retainer.

Typically one to two weeks to onboard, contributing in the second week. Scaling up or down runs on 30 days' notice in either direction, and a minimum of three months keeps the team stable enough to be worth onboarding in the first place.

Yes — that is the point. Your repository, your branch strategy, your review process, your definition of done, your stand-up time. If your leads want to review every pull request, they should. We adapt to your engineering culture rather than importing ours.
