Clinics rarely need a new clinical system. What they need is the layer around it: booking that reflects real availability, reminders that actually reduce no-shows, intake that arrives completed rather than on a clipboard, and a record of who was told what and when. The clinical system is usually fine at being a clinical record and poor at being an operations tool.

We build that layer, and we build it privacy-first because there is no other responsible way. Personal and health data is minimised at collection, access is scoped by role and logged, retention is a decision made at design time, and the data lives in the region you choose inside your own accounts. We design to your regulatory requirements and your counsel's advice rather than offering compliance opinions of our own.

The practical wins are unglamorous and large. Booking against real practitioner and room availability rather than a grid someone maintains. Reminders in the patient's language on the channel they use, which in most of our markets is WhatsApp rather than email. Intake forms completed before arrival so reception is not transcribing. And a schedule that shows the gaps early enough to fill them.

What we typically build

  • Appointment booking and reminders
  • Patient portals and records access
  • Clinic and practice management
  • Telemedicine and consultation flows
  • Insurance and claims workflows
  • Medical document processing

Problems we hear most

  • No-shows because reminders depend on someone remembering to call
  • Patient records split between a practice system, WhatsApp and paper
  • Insurance claims rejected for formatting reasons found weeks later

What changes afterwards

  • Automated multilingual reminders that measurably reduce no-shows
  • One patient record with role-based access and a full audit trail
  • Claims validated before submission rather than after rejection

Frequently asked questions

Questions we are asked about this sector

Data minimisation at collection, role-scoped access with an audit log, retention decided at design time, encryption in transit and at rest, and hosting in the region you choose inside your own cloud account. We are a processor acting on your instructions. We are not a compliance certifier and we do not give legal advice — we build to what your regulator, counsel and data protection officer require, and we say clearly where our responsibility ends.

Usually yes, and that is normally the right shape: keep the clinical record where it is and build the operational layer around it. Where a modern API or HL7/FHIR interface exists we use it. Where the vendor offers only a file export or a database view, we work with that and are explicit about the limits — a nightly sync is a nightly sync, and we will not describe it as real time.

They help, and we would rather set the expectation properly than quote a figure we have not measured for you. What matters more than the reminder itself is that it goes out on the channel the patient actually reads, in their language, with a working one-tap way to confirm or reschedule. A reminder that cannot be acted on without phoning reception is a notification, not a reduction in no-shows. We instrument it so you can see your own rate before and after.

Yes, and as equal versions rather than a translated afterthought — the Arabic booking flow is laid out right-to-left with its own typography, not the English layout mirrored. Reminders and confirmations go out in the language the patient chose, and staff-facing screens can run in a different language from the patient-facing ones, which is usually what a mixed team actually needs.
